The 2018 Pat B. Tweedie Award for
Presented to a Rowan University student for excellence in writing creative nonfiction.
Contestants: If you presently are enrolled as a student at Rowan University, either in an undergraduate or graduate program, you are invited to submit original nonfiction to this competition.
Awards: The first-place winner will receive $200; second place, $100 and third place, $50. At the discretion of the judges, an award may be divided between two or among three or more winners.

Manuscripts will not be returned. Do not send your only copies.
The names of winners will be posted on the Writing Arts Department website (www.rowanwritingarts.org) during the week of March 26, 2018.
A reading by contest winners will be held at 7 p.m. on April 2, 2018 at the Rowan Art Gallery, 301 High Street. All contestants are cordially invited, and winners are expected to participate. The event is open to the public.
