Certificates of Undergraduate Study
A Certificate of Undergraduate Study (CUGS) allows students to gain expertise in a specific area focus within a short period of time, typically within one or two semesters. CUGS are intended for students interested in the specific area focus who do not wish to major or minor in that focus. The CUGS offered by the Rowan University Writing Arts Department vary between 12-15 credit requirements. Since the CUGS are intended for a student outside of the department, these CUGS are available to all non-Writing Arts majors and minors.
