- Proposed topical outline, where appropriate
- Rowan Core statements and outcomes (for Rowan Core courses; this includes I/CCI, CCII, Honors CCI, Honors CCII, and CW1); these are provided by Rowan Core committee and appear on FYW default syllabi
- Grading guidelines and breakdown of the final grade; state whether or not course can be taken for pass/fail credit
- Course requirements
- learning activities to expect
- course materials students need access to
- Attendance Policy (that meets parameters of the university policy and FYW if relevant); should also link to the university policy
- Any other department or instructor policies (i.e., policies to which students are held accountable)
