The Society for Technical Communication (STC) – Philadelphia Metro Chapter is offering memberships to students as well as a $500 scholarship for 2017. This program helps undergraduate or undergraduate students who are studying for a career in technical writing, editing, graphic design, interface design, web design, or some other job in technical communications. All you need is a paragraph explaining why being part of the STC would benefit you and a résumé. The deadline is Tuesday, February 28.

Over the next week, the Rowan Writing Arts Department will have potential professor candidates visit campus to display their teaching styles and meet students as well as faculty. Students are invited to attend teaching demonstrations, readings, and meetings with the candidates.
